Job Description

On behalf of our respective LT client, we are looking for an AB/ Motorman to join Pusher Tug operating in inland waters.

Requirements:
Inland water license is preferable (type a or type b), if no in possession, then:
Seamans book. Valid or previously held (can be expired) OS/ AB license, STCW documents (preferable). Motorman license is preferable.
Minimum of 1 year of experience of work at sea.

Conditions:
Salary: ~ 3200 Eur /month while on board.
Contract duration: 30 days on board, then 30 days unpaid leave, followed by 30 days – continuous work. Opportunity for a long-term job, under Government contract.

Other Contract information:
- Route Kaunas- Klaipeda- Kaunas / The trip along the river takes about 1–2 days as well. / Around 6 round trips per month when cargo exists. Otherwise stand by days alongside.
-Employment under LT contract. All taxes are paid, and the proposed salary is net (after taxes).
-Work experience counts towards employment history, pension accumulation, and includes full social guarantees.
- The crew will work shifts and sleep on the ship. The schedule is self-organized, but mainly, the person steering the ship would work in a 6-hours-on/6-hours-off or 12/12 rotation, taking into account requirements for rest/work hours as per MLC legislation.
